What are the three parts that make up the ears?

Inner, external, and middle.

The structure of the ear is commonly divided into three main parts: the inner ear, middle ear, and external (or outer) ear. Each of these parts has distinct components and functions that contribute to the overall process of hearing and balance.

The external ear includes the visible part of the ear called the pinna, which helps in capturing sound waves, and the ear canal, which directs these sound waves toward the eardrum. The middle ear contains the eardrum and the ossicles, three small bones (the malleus, incus, and stapes) that amplify sound vibrations. The inner ear consists of the cochlea, which transforms sound vibrations into electrical signals for the brain, and the vestibular system, which plays a crucial role in maintaining balance.

Understanding these divisions is fundamental for any individual working in the field of medical technology or central service, as it allows for better comprehension of ear anatomy and its related functions.
